The razor did not have a good movement of the dial ring. 
​The butterfly doors did not open, the handle did not make any movement, it was blocked.
All the surfaces were matt and had lost the original bright of the nickel finish.

There was a lot of petrified limescale inside the mechanisms, and some pieces were absolutely collapsed.
The inner turning screw piece was blocked. Some pieces were solded by limescale.
It was necessary some days in soaking liquids to unblock them.

After some days of work with special soaking liquids and mechanical treatment, all the pieces were finally clean and all the surfaces recovered it original smooth finish, after a soft polishment.
We can see that the original nickel finish has been lost in some points, because of the corrosion of years of limescale.

After reassembling, the blade was mounted and the guard bar was realigned in each side of the head, ready to have a good gap in each dial number.

The final result was very satisfiying for the customer, the razor recovered 100% of its functionallity, and 85% of its original aesthetic.
