LERESCHE #51 luxe with original case
Manufacturing year 1940s.
Made in France.
Legend "LERESCHE FRANCE" on the bottom of the base plate.
3 piece safety razor (cap+handle+inner tube), with "long screw" mounting head.
Nickel finish on all the pieces of the razor.
This model is nickel plated, so this is a late edition of the 51# set. The first editions of this model were silver plated on the handle.
FUNTIONALLITY
The safety razor is in good condition of functionallity, the handle screws good, it is hard assembled when mounted.
When the blade is charged, the alineation of the blade with the guard bar is excellent, it makes perfect contact with the main tooth of the plate. Checked. You can check it on the last images.
The teeth of the comb guard are in excellent condition.
FINISH CONDITION
Head (nickel): Excellent bright, soft marks of use.
Base plate (nickel): Excellent bright, soft marks of use.
Handle (nickel): Excellent condition with soft marks of use.
CASE CONDITION
The imitation leather is a coloured paper, that has been been very well conserved. In general is excellent.
The satin and velvet inside are in excellent condition, with some small marks of use or wear.
Its clean, sanitized and ready to use.
Sanitized with ultrasonic machine and surgical germicide solution, with temperature over 75º C.
